M3 Rock Festival 2011 at Merriweather Post Pavilion

Anyone hearing rumors about other bands that are touring this summer, besides Scorps and Maiden?

i am being told van halen will tour later this year and supposedly completed a new album. its from a pretty reliable source but i'm skeptical

also GNR is rumored to have dates here since they've been playing in other countries right now

talked about last year was a eagles/fleetwood mac double bill

The Scorpions and Ratt tour is this year but i"m not sure when.  Also the Styx/Foreigner/Kansas tour.  That's all I know so far

I wouldn't be surprised to see a return to the states of Krokus. They just put out a new disc called Hoodoo (available in the US in May). They've reunited their classic lineup and went to number one in their native Switzerland. They have major label support and the title track is kick ass. I think they plan to tour here.

My import copy of Hoodoo just arrived today (comes with a DVD). Haven't listened to it yet, though.

I know Bret Michaels will be touring so that means we won't see Poison this summer. I know Poison will tour next year cause next year will be the 25th anniversary of the release of "Look What The Cat Dragged In". I know that Chicago and The Doobie Brothers are touring together. Jimmy Buffett is touring also,goin to see him for the 3rd time in August. I've always loved Jimmy Buffett. He's so much fun live.

Missing Persons and Tommy 2 Tone are playing right down the street from my house in Southbridge Ma.  I might go. Had a big crush on Dale Bozzio from Missing persons growing up.

Missing Persons and Tommy 2 Tone are playing right down the street from my house in Southbridge Ma.  I might go. Had a big crush on Dale Bozzio from Missing persons growing up.

how can they have a missing persons concert without terry bozzio on drums? he was the reason they were any good

If you want to hear a kick ass album with terry Bozzio on drums, go get your self a copy of "Zoom" by The Knack. It came out in '98 and was re-issued in 2002 as "Re-Zoom." The disc kicks serious tail. Hard rockin' and yet great power pop all in one. Bozzio sounds great on it and I saw them on that tour and met him. He was a cool cat.

Must of been a bad break up. He wouldn't reunite with her.Dale lives close by here in New Hampshire.

Terri Bozzio was the drummer of Missing Persons. Dale is the lead singer.

Lizzie Borden, Adler's Appetite, Y & T, Heart, ZZ Top will be on the road.

I'm dying to find out more info on the Cinderella tour!  I have tickets for two of their "warm-up" shows: New York and Philly.

Terri Bozzio was the drummer of Missing Persons. Dale is the lead singer.

lol i must be very tired. if you notice the first post i mention terry its clear i know he's a guy and a drummer. not sure how i slipped up so bad and typed dale the 2nd post. i've seen terry do drum clinics a few times

Extreme at the (FleetBoston, don't know what it is now) Pavilion on June 30th, Dangerous Toys in Southbridge MA first weekend in April.  I'm watching and waiting for anything worth going to see at the Hampton Beach Casino.

Interesting that Dangerous Toys is coming up to MA from Texas. Are they touring? Strange because Jason McMaster's current band Broken Teeth (who kick ass by the way) just released a new disc called "Viva La Rock Fantastico." I'm hoping to see them get on the road and head east. I can take or leave Dangerous Toys. Broken Teeth is better, in my opinion.

LOVE the new Broken Teeth CD. They are actually playing a few midwest shows this year in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. I'm hoping to make the one in Ohio in June with Rhino Bucket and American Dog. I would love to see the Dangerous Toyz show up in MA and wish Jason would bring them back out for more shows than they do.
