M3 Rock Festival 2011 at Merriweather Post Pavilion

I'm coming from NYC with 3 others thursday for the Wildstreet concert, we havent decided between the Sheraton & the Hilton yet.

Last year we stayed at the Sheraton and it was amazing because all the bands stayed there too, but this year the Hilton is the "official" hotel. Does that mean the bands are staying at Hilton this year?

Yeah, but if you check the Merriwether Post Pavilion website, they list the Sheraton as a "partner"   hotel.

There is a topic "Which hotels are the bands staying at?" on the first page of the hotel sub-category.

It may be way too late to get in the Sheraton.

Yeah, we have a reservation for the Sheraton but we wanna cancel and stay where ever the bands are staying.

I know it's been said but.. The Sheraton were assholes last year.  Closing down the bar and just looking at us like we were trouble. (which they were right) I beleive they had some complaints, and imagine that ended the realtionship with M3...

Now, that being said, you can WALK to the concert from there... However, doubt that the bands will stay at the Sheraton for the fact above.. They aren't going to care about walking to the event.. so.... My best guess is Hilton.

thats bc some a-hole was smoking dope in the lobby, in the elevator, the hall and room.

good thing he didn't stay in my room, oh wait.

Ive talked to a couple band members and they are staying at the Sheraton, Not sure if the bigger bands but the smaller mainstage guys I talked to were,

i see after fri show drinks at clydes.

i got wasted there last year on fri night.

Is that some of the repeats like PBF an La Guns?

Well the 2 I talked to are new bands this year and neither of those.

The Sheraton is the only hotel that you can really walk to Merriweather from.  The other hotels would require you to walk along a limited access highway to get to the venue.

Ok its official, Im staying at The Sheraton!

Just  changed my reservation to the Hilton on Twin Knolls Road.......See all of you there!
