i hate to bust balls but there were a few people who were super drunk and kept getting more beers. do these vendors know its against the law to sell someone who appears drunk another alcoholic beverage? there was now way in hell a vendor could think some of those people were not drunk.

I hear ya. I was one of the fallen. First time ever I had to leave a show before it was over. ( I didn't have one beer either):(

Dokken. They are back together and I recently saw Don (minus Lynch) and they still kick major ass. Tesla would make a great headliner. If they got time for Shiprocked (last year), they got time for M3 I also hear that Mark Slaughter is touring solo.

Oh shit! Was it the heat? One of my friends got really sick during the Scorps set, and he stopped drinking at 4pm. At first, we all thought it was because of Vince Neil's atrocious vocals during "Another piece," but then he said he really felt like crap and was gonna rest in the car. So we met him after the show, and he said he'd puked a bit but was feeling better. The sun kicked his ass - he doesn't do well in the sun and it was the first hot one of the year for him. When did you bail? That's a shame. I hope you gave your VIPs to someone on the way out!

I think I spent more on water and Gatorade, than beer. If it's too hot for me to drink beer, it's bad!!!! My GF was about ready to fall out, and I was feeling rather funky, until I figured out that we should hit the shade on the lawn, instead of the pavillion. It was just plain ignorant in the pavillion! No regrets though!!!

Vince Neil set started sooo late that the schedule was off and Warrant and Cinderella played pretty much at the same time

yes that pissed me off. cinderella started about 8 and ended about 9. they got a jam out of "fallin apart at the seams" the "bad seamstress blues" part. i think warrant started about 5-10 minutes late and played longer than they were supposed to because i guess they were told the scorpions were going on late. can anyone tell me warrants setlist?

I would certainly not attend if this was next year's lineup.
i saw Whitesnake 3 times opening for Priest last year and they were just awful. Lita Ford should have stayed retired (check out some clips - atrocious).
The rest of these bands do nothing for me.

There were some that made it to the gate at 11am who could barely stand up. The woman in front of me kept falling over sometime around Cinderella and the boyfriend/husband kept filling her with more. I believe she ended up pissing herself. Let's not forget the ignorant ass who flew over a row, landing and hitting a woman for a drumstick. (If you on the forum, dear sir, you are an ass!) Survived many a show, Hammerjacks, club shows, arena shows, etc. and never saw anything quite like it. I guess there are a few in every crowd and it might just be them and not the beer talking!
I don't drink, never have, but was under the understanding that liquor and the heat is typically a bad thing. Then to put tens of thousands of people into the mix...you have issues!
But I also echo the misting tents or a cooling station. This is a lot different format than the typical gates open at 6pm kind of show. MWP needs to consider the health concerns of the attendees.

@Gizz, my husband left sick before the scorps too, and he hadn't been drinking. @Sweet P, I think that Clydes was almost as unhappy about having us there as the Sheraton was. That was lame.

Saw Yngwie in 2008 and was amazing. Tim Ripper Owens was in the band lineup and he blew me away. Last time I saw Tim was when he was in Judas Priest on the Jugulator tour. Love to see Yngwie play M3.. HELIX are an amazing Canadian act as well. I've seen them play numerous times up in Canada.
